Financial Astrology

By Kshitij Sharma, February 9, 2015

Mundane astrology is a branch of Vedic Astrology that deals with day to day happenings and how it affects life around us. Learnings from this branch are used to predict the effect of movement of planets on countries, their rulers, commodity prices, futures etc.

This concept can be readily applied to share market and financial astrology. There are books and notes available on financial astrology. However, this website brings a unique perspective on financial and stock market astrology based on not only mundane astrology, but statistical analysis as well. The advice is published on a monthly basis as a set of blog posts.

Effect of Delhi Elections on Stock Market

By Kshitij Sharma, February 2, 2015

Please refer to my article on India stock market in the month of January where I had mentioned that the honeymoon period for Narendra Modi government is pretty much over and there will be lot of street protests eroding the support that the government has created over the period of 8 months. This prediction was made by interpreting the overall mundane astrology chart and not by interpreting horoscope of any important leader. I tried getting the horoscope of Mr. Kejariwal, Ms. Bedi and Mr. Modi, but have not been able to get any reliable charts. Hence any interpretation based on the horoscopes floating around in the internet will only be fraught with errors and is not worth the effort.

Stock Market Predictions February 2015

By Kshitij Sharma, January 16, 2015

Looking at the last month, gold sentiment indeed is lower with 56% of investors recommending sell rating on the yellow metal. It will continue to go down and overall 2015 returns on gold are predicted to be negative. The stock markets were choppy and Nifty showed signs of a head and shoulders pattern by 14th of Jan. On 15th Jan, it opened with a bang because of rate cut.

Profit taking was indeed prevalent analysts all over recommended bargain hunting. Where I went wrong is the rally for metals. There was no uptrend and in fact metals are tanking across the board based on global cues.

Coming to February 2015, the overall trends are described here. Markets will come out of chaos by 2nd week of Feb and will settle down. However, astrologically speaking, a trend changing event should be expected again in first week of Feb and also around Feb 17th/18th.

Stock Market Predictions January 2015

By Kshitij Sharma, December 21, 2014

Looking back at the previous month – December 2014, my predictions about the profit taking and market going down were bang on. The on place where I failed miserably was my reading on the oil prices. I had predicted that oil prices will break the downward trend and will up up, but looks like भगवान को कुछ और ही मंज़ूर था. I need to learn more. Not only was the crude down, it broke years of support levels.

The other statement that did not work was on food (or retail) inflation – it did not go up and on the other hand, CPI fell to a record low of 4.38 per cent from 5.52 per cent in October. (Source: NDTV Profit)

Gold Prices

By Kshitij Sharma, November 16, 2014

Readers are encouraged to take a look at this link in Hindustan Times. The article indicates the following:

Gold recovered its glitter on Saturday as it vaulted ₹715 to record its second biggest single-day gain this year, driven by rising demand ahead of the wedding season and weak US economic data.

Prices are set to rise further in the days to come, traders said, advising those planning to buy the precious metal to do so right away.

At this time, I would like you to take a look at the article published under financial astrology category for the month of November 2014, where this was clearly predicted.

Stock Market and Astrological Aspects

By Kshitij Sharma, July 16, 2014

Hello Readers,

These are my very preliminary and basic notes on how stock markets are predicted using Vedic Astrology. These are derived from the bible of Mundane Astrology that is Brihat Samhita. Brihat Samhita describes the matter/material associated with planets and then the movement of planets through various signs and nakshatras affects the demand and supply and price movement in commodities and stock market. There are not a lot of learning matter available for Vedic Astrology and I am in process of getting a book called Vyapar Ratna which is supposed to contain specifics on movement in commodities markets. Some information is also derived from Muhurta Chintamani that talks about when we can/should spend/invest/loan money. I apologize that there are no examples, charts or other details in this article as I am still learning. I will try to share information as and when I get it.
