If I take the latitude and longitude of Mumbai, India, Rahu/Ketu will enter the signs around midday of January 30th, 2016 and will stay in these signs for approximately one and a half year till 18th August 2017. Rahu and Ketu are mathematical entities exactly 180° apart. Therefore, when Rahu enters Leo, Ketu enters Aquarius. Both the transits have different effect on the individual as per his/her janma rashi as derived from the natal horoscope. While Rahu and Ketu are exactly 180° apart, it does not mean that an adverse transit of Rahu is beneficial transit for Ketu and vice-versa.
The rest of the article will try to delineate how the two transits of Rahu in Pisces and Ketu in Aquarius. will simultaneously affect an individual. The sign in the first column is the janma rashi or the moon sign. If you do not know your moon sign, please first find it out through the horoscope software application on this page on the website. Subsequently, lookup this sign on the first column and find out the effect of the transit. If the transit is adverse, the necessary remedies to reduce the effects of Rahu and Ketu transits are detailed in the last part of this article.
Movement of Rahu and Ketu through the zodiac is pretty interesting. They are not real planets, but are mathematical points. They both move back in retrogression. Rahu and Ketu are in Virgo and Piaces respectively right now and they move backward to Leo and Aquarius respectively. If Rahu affects 5th house in the birth horoscope i.e., the natal chart, “problems” will be related to children, speculations and other factors shown by the 5th house. Also, since Rahu and Ketu have special 5th and 9th drishti, there will be some stimulation of the traits denoted by the house being aspected by these two shadowy planets.
