A lunar eclipse occurs on 4th April 2015. This eclipse is visible in much of Asia, Australia, large parts of both North & South America, islands in Atlantic, Pacific and Indian oceans. It does cover a lot of parts of the world, but is not visible in Africa and Europe.
For the residents of the affected region, appropriate Rashi-Graha-Nakshatra shanti/sanskar should be done in order to mitigate the effect of the eclipse. The eclipse occurs in Kanya Rashi & Hasta Nakshatra. As per astrological indicators, this eclipse has the following effect on various rashis –
Inauspicious, Anishta Effect: Kanay Rashi (Virgo), Mithuna Rashi (Gemini), Kumbha Rashi (Aquarius), Tula Rashi (Libra)
Medium Effect: Simha Rashi (Leo), Meena Rashi (Pisces), Makar Rashi (Capricorn), Vrishabh Rashi (Taurus)
Auspicious , Shubh Effect: Karka Rashi (Cancer), Mesh Rashi (Aries), Dhani Rashi (Sagittarius), Vrishchik Rashi (Scorpio)
Apart from this, Hasta Nakshatra borns will also come under the anishta effects during this eclipse.
