Planetarypositions.com is a serious astrology site. I do believe in the science and art of astrology. However, I also believe in free speech and respect the opinions that are expressed on internet and on the media.
Over past few days, Mrs. Smriti Irani has been in news for the wrong reasons. She visited an astrologer and asked about her future. This is what TOI has to say on the story:
Along with her husband Zubin Irani, the minister had on Sunday gone to visit Pandit Nathulal Vyas at Karoi village in Bhilwara, Rajasthan. According to TV reports, in her four-hour long meeting with Vyas, Irani reportedly asked several questions on her political and personal future and also thanked the astrologer for his correct prediction.
If she visits an astrologer in her free time and talks to him, why should it be a media report? Even if I had not been an astrologer, I would have said that what she does in her personal free time is her prerogative. Why is this being splashed all over the news channels? All her detractors need to answer this question first – have they *ever* approached an astrologer and inquired about their future? If yes, then they have no right to question Mrs. Irani.

I do respect a good atheist. They debate well and a discussion on astrology with them is mentally stimulating. By the way, being an atheist is a combination clearly visible in the birth horoscope of a person. An atheist is a person with afflicted 5th house and 9th house whereby he/she does not believe in existence of a supreme being. 8th house lord in a horoscope if afflicts the 9th house and its lord, indicates atheism. Similarly, 5th house and its lord if are afflicted by association of aspect of strong malefics like Rahu or Saturn also indicates atheism.
