Saturn’s transit to Libra is coming to an end. On Nov 4th 2014, Saturn will move from airy sign of Libra to watery sign of Scorpio. It will remain in Vishakha nakshatra and move from 3rd pada to 4th pada of Vishakha. It will remain in Scorpio for a period of approximately three years and will move to Sagittarius in October 2017. It will be a longer than average transit. Scorpio belongs to Mars, who Saturn considers an enemy. Hence Saturn will be en enemy rashi from November.
Libra was exaltation sign of Saturn. A happy, exalted Saturn is a preserver. It indicates perseverance, determination and as Saturn indicates masses, an exalted Saturn indicates that people are exercising their power and democracy is going well. Saturn exaltation in Libra in the first house was used by astrologers to fix up the time of Shri Narendra Modi’s oath taking ceremony.

Saturn crosses over to Sagittarius on Jan 26th 2017. It will be stationary on April 6th 2017 at Sagittarius 3°42′ and then it is retrograde. It reenters Scorpio in retrograde motion on June 20, 2017. Retrograde motion continues goes till 2745’ on August 25th 2017 when it would become direct again. It finally would be out of Scorpio and and would cross over to Sagittarius on October 27th 2017. During this period from June 20 2017 to Oct 27th 2017, the transit effect of Scorpio rashi will be felt again.
During this transit, Sadhe sati will be experienced by Libra rashi, Scorpio rashi and Sagittarius rashi persons. The following table summarizes the effect of Saturn’s transit in Scorpio for various rashis.

Persons going through this transit do not seem to get support from others, including close family members. 8th house transit also indicates loss of close relatives. 8th house transit of any of the slow moving planets is indicative of unexpected gains through inheritance. This is a good transit to sit and reflect, start new research topic. |
| Taurus | 7th House | Inauspicious, Mixed results | Persons going through this transit are held down by weight of expectation from others – family, friends, co-workers who always think that the person is not going enough. On the other hand, the person cannot understand that in-spite of all the effort that is being put, why isn’t anyone happy. This causes confusion and conflict, which is the hallmark of this transit. This transit is also marked by fatigue and lack of desire. Travel to foreign countries would be beneficial in this period. |
| Gemini | 6th House | Very auspicious | This is a very auspicious transit indicative of support from all the places, enemies backing down and accumulation of wealth from multiple sources. | Cancer | 5th House | Inauspicious, Mixed results | This transit indicates problems with children and speculation. 5th House is Lakshmi’s trine and a malefic influence on this from janma rashi would indicate problems with money and financial situation. Expenses would grow. Cancer rashi persons during this period would feel confusion and lack of capacity to make sound decisions. |
| Leo | 4th House (Ardh-ashtama, Kantaka Shani) | Inauspicious | This transit is inauspicious and has special names – अर्ध-अष्टम शनि and कंटक शनि. It is indicative of disagreements with family and spouse and emotional disconnect from loved ones. It indicates problems to ones mother and her health should be taken care of during this transit. There could be change of residence and separation from family. Land dealing, property would be problematic. It is a tough time at work with lot of opposition. This transit also indicates health problems in form of heart diseases, abdominal disorders. |
| Virgo | 3rd House | Very Auspicious | Kanya rashi persons would be feeling liberated during this transit. For them, it is a double pleasure – the sadhe sati, which put a lot of limitations and obstruction in front of them is over and the same Saturn is now helping them gain new grounds. This is a period of all round development – new financial avenues, job opportunities etc. Again, sincere advice to all Kanya rashi persons is that this time should be made good use of. Saturn’s transit helps only those who help themselves. There would be a bit of bother on health front. Watch out for development of chronic diseases and go for health-checkup periodically. |

| Scorpio | 1st House (Sadhe Sati) | Inauspicious | The first house transit indicate middle part of Sadhe sati for Scorpio janma rashi persons. This transit indicates separation from family. A person may choose to stay away from family in a different city, for example, or may go on frequent trips. The person suffers from ill health. Some astrologers are of opinion that this transit is responsible for persons picking up a bad habit or vices. For this particular case for Scorpio janma rashi, the results will be inauspicious as Saturn is a functional malefic also. |
| Sagittarius | 12th House (Sadhe Sati) | Inauspicious | Dhanu rashi persons begin their Sadhe sati in Nov 2014. Similar to 1st house transit, this is a period of confusion for the person. The feeling of depression is more because the immediately preceding transit was a very good one. The person would feel lost and wander aimlessly. The preceding transit was an auspicious one financially. Flow of money will indeed go down. Therefore even when financially there is not much difference, comparison with previous cycle will cause more frustration. Watch out for that. | Capricorn | 11th House | Very Auspicious | Capricorn jamna rashi persons will shine during this transit – more so when Saturn is benefic to them being a lagna lord. Expect improved inflow of money, peer recognition and improvement in leadership skills. It is very auspicious transit and should be made full use of by working hard and working with determination and focus. |
| Aquarius | 10th House | Inauspicious, Mixed results | Average to worse transit awaits Kumbha rashi persons. In the rashi chart, Saturn is lord of 1st house and 12th house and is a benefic. Therefore, even though 10th house transit is considered inauspicious, this transit will give mixed results. The person will feel that the results are not matching the efforts put in for job/business and studies and he/she deserves much more than what is happening and what they are getting. There would be lot of obstacles in path to progress and nothing will come easy. If Saturn is malefic in the birth horoscope or rashi chart, 10th house transit may indicate loss of job, but that is not the case for Aquarius rashi persons. It will indicate problems in place of work, but not loss of job. |
| Pisces | 9th House | Inauspicious, Mixed results | This transit indicates that person will have problems with father, father-figures and persons in authority. There is loss of faith all around. One needs to take care of parents during this transit. Saturn is a malefic for Pisces lagna/rashi and this would be an adverse transit for Meena rashi persons. Long distance travels will be unrewarding and pointless. |
