Foreign Travels and Journeys - 2
When I faced database problems on my website, I must have missed a lot of comments. This was an important one, made by Basab Roy on the post on foreign travels and journeys. While going through older emails in my gmail account today, I figured that somehow this comment was one of them.
Basab, with apologies, here is the content in its entirety. Please let me know if I missed anything.
1) Dual signs signifies foreign travel.
2)12th house is a house of foreign residence. I guess the logic behind it is the 12th house is the 4th house(residence) from the 9th house(foreign travel). It is also 9th from 4th.
3) Ketu and Jupiter are also the significators of foreign travel. I guess the logic behind Jupiter being a significator of foreign travel is Jupiter is the lord of 9th (Sagittarius) and 12th (Pisces) signs of the Kalpurush zodiac.
4) Malefic influences on the 2nd house of family can result in either of the following:
- Foreign travel: If malefic influences on the 2nd house are supported by other strong connections for foreign travel in the birth chart then the native will leave his/her family and travel abroad.
- Short journey: If malefic influences on the 2nd house are supported by other strong connections for short journeys but not foreign travel then the native will leave his/her family and make short journeys.
- No travels but conflicts with family: If malefic influences on the 2nd house are not supported by other strong connections for foreign travel or short journeys in the birth chart then the native will have conflicts with his/her family but won’t leave them for foreign travel.
5) Malefic influences on the 4th house of home can result in either of the following:
- Foreign travel: If malefic influences on the 4th house are supported by other strong connections for foreign travel in the birth chart then the native will leave his/her family and travel abroad.
- Short journey: If malefic influences on the 4th house are supported by other strong connections for short journeys but not foreign travel then the native will leave his/her home and make short journeys.
- No travels but conflicts with family: If malefic influences on the 4th house are not supported by other strong connections for foreign travel or short journeys in the birth chart then the native will have an unhappy domestic life but won’t leave his/her for foreign travel or short journeys.
6) The dasha of the 7th lord or planets in the 7th house can give foreign travel.
7) If the lagna makes connection with 7th house, 9th house or 12th house but these connections happen in fixed signs then the person will make short journeys within the country and not to a foreign land.

Here are my observations :
Generally 7th lord, the planets in conjunction with 7th lord , the Rashyadipathi of 7th lord and Ketu give travel during their Bhuktis/Anthar Bhuktis.
The travel destination depends upon the slow moving planet which is in Conjunction with lagna/lagna lord /lagna lord’s amshadipathi at the time of the above mentioned Bhuktis/Antar bhuktis.
Thus, if Ketu is transiting lagna either by being in lagna, 12th house or anywhere with 15-20 degress with lagan point, travel to a christian country can be predicted.
Similar results if Ketu is holding the lagna lord in Gochara/ holding lagna lord in natal chart.
Also, if Jupiter is similar position, piligrimage can be predicted…etc.

As for my information: in hand a horizontal line should be present about 1 inch from base of hand (opp side of thumb). This line signifies a foreign travel. I verified this with some people who are currently in a foreign country are went to a foreign country. I found this line. But all this are based on my personal analysis. I request learned commenters to comment on this. Further to my above comment: My father and we all in our family had this line, but for my father the line was just few mm long. In 1993 we all went to Nepal via land route, my father stayed back in Indian Side of the border gate, me, my sister and my mom went into Nepal. So from this it may be understood, that the line that indicated foreign travel should be at least a cm long or more. For me the line is 1 inch long but I am yet to take another trip abroad after 1993. So I request learned contributers to answer on this contradiction. my DOB 4477, TOB: 00:30 IST, POB, Chennai.
Lines on the mount of moon indicate voyages and long travels. You have to see WHERE on the mount the line is, and determine the probable age when that travel might happen. The depth of the line, the orientation of the line, the formation of the line, additional influences on the line from surrounding lines are to be noted. Then, see if travel is marked on the lines of life and fate, and if the important mounts of the hand reveal any special markings related to travel.
Like in astrology, in palmistry also the question has to be assessed from many angles and from both palms before a decision is made. Thoroughness lies at the very heart of this predictive science.
I have not noticed the importance of the length of the line in correlating the duration of travel or stay overseas. I have been abroad for almost 10 years, my line should extend off my hand then !!

Lord of 4th House id debiliated, Placed in Dusthana, Conjoins or aspected by the lord of 12th.
These combinations I have seen in no less then 40-50 charts which has resulted in settlement of the person in foreign land/away from the place of birth.
