There was a question on horoscope compatibility here, where there was an issue with the horoscope matching software.
There seems to be a problem in Horoscope matching . I entered the following details:
Bride: Gurkirat | DOB: 10-2-1994 | HH:18 MM:54 | |TZ: 5-30E | Saving: No | Lat: 30-56N | Long: 76-46E | Charttype: North Indian
Groom: Himanshu | DOB: 3-5-1981 | HH:18 MM:54 | |TZ: 5-30E | Saving: No | Lat: 30-56N | Long: 76-46E| Chart Type: North indianNow the result shows : 11.5. But when I add the individual guns: it comes out to be 13.
Which also means that Tara element which is not shown comes out to be -1.5.Its a good site but, you should not put such a buggy software on your application. People are forced to think that their match is not compatible. This is not acceptable.
I do accept that softwares are buggy and humbly accept that I am very likely to make mistakes. Please keep pointing these to me. I will correct the mistakes and make appropriate changes to the horoscope compatibility software. I will immediately update the new version on the site too.
Coming back to this match, I tried these values and got a match of 20 and not 11.5. This is an acceptable match. But, I have a doubt on the input values as the time of of birth and place of birth is exactly the same. This is too much of a coincidence and definitely an erroneous input. For this specific question , whether it is 11.5 guna match score or 13, anything below 18 points it is an unacceptable match. I hope this explanation answers the query appropriately.
For horoscope matching, it does not mean that there point system is a “scorecard” of compatibility and 30 gunas matching are somehow better than 25. There are other factors that need to be considered as well that affect the overall compatibility.
