A solar eclipse occurs on 20th March 2015. This eclipse is visible in Europe, North/East Asia, North/West Africa, the western part of North America and Atlantic region as well as in the Arctic. This eclipse is not visible in other parts of the world.

The eclipse occurs in Meena Rashi & Uttara Bhadprada Nakshatra. As per astrological indicators, this eclipse has the following effect on various rashis –
Inauspicious, Anishta Effect: Meena Rashi (Pisces), Simha Rashi (Leo), Dhanu Rashi (Sagittarius), Mesha Rashi (Aries)
Medium Effect: Kumbha Rashi (Aquarius), Kanya Rashi (Virgo), Vrishchika Rashi (Scorpio), Karka Rashi (Cancer)
Auspicious , Shubh Effect: Makar Rashi (Capricorn), Tula Rashi (Libra), Vrishabha Rashi (Taurus), Mithuna Rashi (Gemini)
Apart from this, Uttara Bhadprada nakshatra borns will also come under the anishta effects during this eclipse.
