Diseases and Sixth House

I would like to thank one and all for the overwhelming response that you had given to my last article. That has encouraged me to write a second article for this astrology site.
Everyone in this world has a tendency to fall ill but some people have a better immune system than others. That makes some people less prone to infections. According to medical science, tuberculosis is a communicable and infectious disease but some people do not catch the infection even after staying with a T.B. patient.
According to Vedic astrology, diseases are denoted by sixth house, its ruler and the karaka of the sixth house, Saturn. Following the principles of bhavat bhaavam, being sixth from sixth, eleventh house would also denote diseases.
When a bhava, its ruler and the rashi gets aspected by malefic planets, the person gets the disease of the body part denoted by the particular planet. For example, when a horoscope shows an afflicted sixth house, virgo and its ruler Mercury, the person would suffer from hernia. Persons whose liver does not function properly should have an afflicted fifth house, its lord, Leo and Sun.
Sixth house shows the immune system - the inner strength to figth against diseases. Doctors, who spend a lot of time between patients treating them, must have a strong sixth house. If sixth house gets strong by having a malefic positioned there, it should be considered good for health, but it would not be considered for marriage. Benefits of a strong Saturn in sixth house, shows the ability to face trouble and fight diseases. On the other hand, a debilitated Saturn in sixth house, which would happen for Scorpio lagna, would give a cronic disease.
In case of Gemini ascendant, Mars becomes ruler of both sixth and eleventh house and hence becomes a double signifactor of disease. In this case, a person should be careful during the dasha of Mars.
According of Maharshi Parashara, Rahu in sixth house gives a longer life, however there are certain confusing and contradicting mantras given by various astrologers.

I received a message from Mr. Ananda Krishnan about his disc problem. I want to discuss his problem with all learner astrologer like me. He is scorpion ascendant. Surya in lagna. According to surya kundali and janma kundali (same in his case) 6 house lord and lagna lord are same Mars. He is having Rahu in his sixth house and mars is well placed in 5 house. Jupiter is in tenth house. Moon in Ninth house. Venus & Mercury in second house, Saturn in his 8 house. Saturn being a malefic for this ascendant aspect Fifth house and his lord Jupiter, Fifth rashi(Leo) as well as Lagna lord Mars. Let us look through another angle Chandra kundali. His Chandrama is in Cancer sign so saturn is again malefic. sixth house lord is jupiter. Saturn is aspecting sixth house and its lord also.Waiting for comment..
I am really sorry above kundali is not of Mr. Anand.It is a kundali of a child who had to undergo two surgery in his 3 yr age. first surgery is Jupiter-Moon- Saturn Dasha and second in Jupiter - Mars-Mars dasha.
Please give details of birth. If for reasons of privacy one is unable to, then provide full rashi and navamsha charts and dasha balance at birth. Without this, analysis is difficult.

The thing that struck me most was the presence of Rahu in the 6th (Aries) with Mars in 5th (12th from 6th). Mars’ rashi dispositor, Jupiter aspects the 6th. Saturn and Mars aspect each other. Jupiter is lord of 6th in Leo, in 2nd from the Moon. Jupiter is a maraka for the chart, and lagna lord is weakened. In navamsa, 12th lord Sun is in the 6th and Jupiter is lord of the 6th from Indu lagna, and placed in Scorpio with Rahu. Given these features, the seat of disease seems to be the heart/chest area (5th). Rahu’s influence indicates that diagnosis will be flawed. Doctors may be unable to pinpoint the exact cause. Martian influence forces surgical intervention since Jupiter, Mars’ rashi dispositor aspects the 6th. Saturn as lord of 3rd and 4th retrograde in the 8th is not favourable and he is aspected by Mars. Currently, sadesati is on and Saturn’s transit over Ashlesha is notable as Mercury is the 8th lord. The last bhukti of Jupiter dasa is on, and being Rahu’s subperiod is not conducive for regainment of health. Jupiter’s transit into Sagittarius will not help matters, and the child may continue to suffer the strokes of Balarishta through Saturn-Saturn.
Those well-versed in astrology are requested to “analyse” my analysis of this chart and provide their comments. I am learning and would be glad if you can point my mistakes.
Another question that I couldn’t answer: Moon is on the cusp of Gemini-Cancer at 0-08.
Also, those visiting this site and reading this analysis - please pray for this child and its parents.
In the chart the lagna lord is in the nakshatra of Saturn, which is in the 8th house. Saturn is also aspecting lagna lord Mars from the 8th house so these points definitely indicate health problems for the native.
The Jupiter-Moon-Saturn period was negative because Jupiter is the 2nd lord from the lagna and in the 2nd from the Moon so a marak and its dasha can cause health problems. In the Navamsha Jupiter is the 7th lord so a marak and is conjunct Venus the 2nd lord another marak. The Moon is the 12th lord in the 12th house (hospital) from the dasha lagna. In the Navamsha the Moon is the 12th lord (hospital). Saturn is in the 8th house aspecting lagna lord mars, from the Moon Saturn is again a marak being the 7th and 8th lord in the 12th house (hospital). From the dasha lagna Saturn is again a marak being the 6th and 7th lord so the Saturn pratyantardasha should have caused health problems. In the Navamsha Saturn is the 6th lord of disease in the 7th house a marak house.
The Jupiter-Mars-Mars period was negative because Mars the lagna lord is in the nakshatra of Saturn, which is in the 8th house and is also aspected by Saturn from the 8th house; from the dasha lagna Mars is in the 8th house. In the Navamsha Mars is the 8th lord and 3rd lord in the 12th house (hospital).
I checked the transit at that period, Saturn was in Gemini at that time, and was aspecting the natal Mars the lagna lord so that again indicated health problems. Saturn was also in the 8th house from the lagna and 12th house form the Moon and it was also the 1st phase of sade-sathi so really negative and the transit became more effective as Saturn was aspecting the dasha lord jupiter & the person was undergoing the pratyantar dasha of Saturn as well. In the Mars antardasha and Mars pratyantardasha also Saturn was in the zodiac Gemini so at that time also the transit of Saturn was quite damaging.
The antardasha of Rahu can cause some health problems but nothing serious. The dasha of Saturn won

Mr.Roy and Mr. Anand, I agreed both of you in this matter. and I am very much pleased to know about the prediction of Mr. Anand about Doctor’s fault to pin point the disease but I don’t know about that I asked that point to the mother of that child through email. but till now I didn’t receive her answer. but any way I think you are absolutely right about it. now Mr. Basab co- relate Vimshottari dasha with this event very logically and systematically. But now I think we should also consider yogini dasha for it.

Sorry, I contact his mother but I didnot get any email from her side. So, no updates are available. As S.Anand ji asked me about dasha system . No doubt, Vimshottari Dasha system is the best one . but I personnally feel as a student of astrology we should also check other dasha system with such problem. As you asked me about varga chart . I prefer 1/6 Shashtamsha chart for diseases.

My birth details 9 may 1982 around 4:45 am, 27; 43N, 85; 19E time zone 5:30 E.
Since childhood I have suffered from left ear infections. I remember my ear used to get infected(extremely painful) once a year until I was like 15 16 then I started to use different medications rather it started to go more frequently and later on major surgery was done in my left ear but for me that was the major mistake after that it has started more and more often now I have infections(but not painful) every week my ear is almost always in infection my ear canal is always swelling now i am tired of using medication also I feel like not using them now. AND I am always going to best doctors I find no help.
But the surprising thing is that even though my right ear is perfectly free of infections it has almost 20 to 30 percent hearing deficiency I exactly don
