Need Suggestions
Dear Blog Readers,
I need some suggestions from you regarding my website. As of now, the website is hosted on Geocities. I was thinking of moving it to a paid hosting service. The main motivation behind this is because I got some money out of the Google Adsense programme. Initially I was against it, but then I realized that this money is definitely paying some bills.
I am now planning to divert some of this money for a hosting service. I think it would be useful in the long run. Essentially, my requirements are:

Service that can support JSP since I already have a java codebase in the form of an applet.

No ads as they are an irritant.
-
Front page extensions would be a good thing to have.
-
Decent transfer limits.
-
Domain name
-
Support for few email addresses
I cannot think of anything else right now. I would appreciate of some of you could share your experiences and suggest a service provider. Or, should I just maintain status quo and continue with Geocities?
dear sir, hi i really do enjoy your commentary on vedic astrology. you have really taken it seriously to understand it in the proper context. i suggest you check out the following for domain server providers: godaddy.com is decent and they have many levels to choose from. they also now have a free web hosting as well without popup ads but little advertising similar to google adsense. i am sure it will fit your needs. by the way can you email me at rajagursahani@gmail.com with your reply. i would like to correspond with you via email regarding vedic astrology. i have been stumbling on some great truths regarding it and would like to correspond with you about it and get your insight as well.

Leave it just as it is.. Most people find it easier like this…plus moving sites is lke moving address, u are bound to loose some% of the audience..actually bad for them if they loose you.

We have been using this Mumbai-based ISP since July, 2005 and the uptime is almost 100%. Their support is on IM (indialinks1@hotmail.com), so we have very fast turnaround times on any problems.

Hi I am with http://www.3ix.org (Excite)because they are $US9 for six months and allow a free trial period. I registered the domain with PlanetDomain.com. Otherwise, Dreamhost is recommended by my web teacher. I think you should leave geocities and keep the GoogleAdSense. I am very grateful to you for providing the online lagna calculator as I couldn’t get an Ephemeris for my birth year in India.

I am working as scientist at London (chemistry field), willing to do PhD from cambridge university.
